The Word Search

Hey you!! Glad you're back!!

Ahh the word searches! Do you ever feel like you're on a roll on finding the words and then poof, you're stuck? You get so frustrated because you can not find the word that you have been searching for the past 30 minutes. When you finally find it, it's like thank goodness I didn't give up! Then you get all excited and want to continue going on with the word search!

That's like our journey with Christ! We get all pumped up on the mountain top and then boom we're in the lowest valley of our lives and can't make sense of the situation that is in front of us! Well, I am here to tell you just like when you get all happy when you finally find the word it's going to be twice the excitement when Jesus leads you out of the valley!

The hardest part is to keep going even when you have to go back and look through every line on the paper trying to make sense of all the chaos! Eventually, the word will be revealed to you and you'll be so relieved and so full of joy that you didn't give up! That's like the message we will receive whenever we can't seem to make sense of our future, our valleys, our chaos! We must keep persevering and giving thanks and praise to the Lord for providing strength, comfort, and the tools we need to overcome these things!

Isaiah 43:19 says, "Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert." How reassuring that Jesus will always make a way for us to overcome the adversities set before us!

Don't get discouraged because you can't find the missing piece to the puzzle, or the word that's in a jumble of letters. Let God provide and make a way through the wilderness and the deserts!

Hey I just want to tell you, you are going to get through this! God is on your side and even when it's hard to keep going, ask a friend to help you because maybe they were stuck on the same word at one point on their journey! God loves you, cares for you, and is faithful always and forever!
