Breaking Free

You know how in High School Musical Gabriella freaks out because of all the people staring at her in the audience? What did Troy do? He said, "Hey, look at me right at me." That's exactly what God does with us. When we're put in a very uncomfortable season or we're afraid of something we tend to stare at it and let it control us. You know when Gabriella opened up she flourished! She let go of her fear and became herself! "We're soaring, flying!" That's what God wants for us! This season of hurt, pain, confusion, temptation, whatever it is that is captivating your potential LET IT GO! It doesn't need your time and your energy anymore!

If you're upset things didn't work out with someone, LET IT GO! If you're sad that you didn't get the job you wanted, LET IT GO! If you're afraid you're never going to find something again, LET IT GO! Stop giving power to these anxious thoughts! Stop letting the Devil control everything you think and do! Jesus broke the chains and has called us into freedom! Give your attention to God! Look to God! What is there to be afraid of? LET GO! The reason why things didn't work out is because it could've been a potential danger for your future! He has so much better in store for your life! The reason why you didn't get the job is because God has a better place for you to thrive and flourish!

You know what I'm afraid of? I'm afraid that I'm going to miss out on opportunities if I keep giving attention to these negative thoughts in my head! Break Free! Lay it at the feet at Jesus and fly! Let yourself live! Put yourself out there! Free fall because God has got you in His hands! Trust that even in the roughest part of the water, God is going to bring you into still waters. You are so strong, so passionate, and so amazing! Show it and believe in yourself! Believe that God has a plan for you, God will provide for you, and that God will not ever leave you!

I love you! It's time to break free and soar in the sky! It's time to break down walls and let God be at work in and through you! It's time to free fall and be the person God created you to be! <3
